I get increasingly excited about the bold and adventurous direction science is heading into. It feels to me like its starting to catch up with what spiritual texts from all walks of the world have been saying all along…
We are one. Everything is connected.
When i was reflecting on that on my way home today it brought to mind Aesop’s fable of The Hare and the Tortoise. Science is racing around, doing lots of new and exciting things, helping us progress, fundamentally change the way we live and connect whilst Spirit, self-assured with no need to prove itself itself plods along quite happily. No, i’m never shy of an analogy or two.
But it’s not about one winning the race over the other and the two sides are not clear cut rivals – one good one bad. Science has had a bad rap from Religion over many centuries so it’s no surprise that Science gives Spirit a hard time. People learning in their own way. But it’s where they start to come together that lifts me up. And following the work of Lynne McTaggart, Nassim Haremein, Doc Childre and the Heartmath institute as well as Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle and the Dalai Lama those synergies become more apparent.
Intuition to me isn’t blind faith, it’s tapping into an innate ability that we all have that, because of the noise and distractions in our world, a lot of us had forgotten. Crystals are not magical rocks, they are unique vibrations of energy that have a material density we can see and an intelligence yet beyond our understanding. Auras are not just for holy people, we all have them, they are expressions of our own unique vibrations that we cannot (or choose not to?) see. And astrology? Astrology is not a bunch of gods and goddesses moving us around like chess pieces it’s a multidimensional guide to the energetic forces all around us.
It’s coming together. I can sense it. Within our lifetime, these two competing forces will meet and there will be no more need to race.
